How to use the tags

This blog resource will be helpful to get an overview of Jesus' healings.  It chronologically and quantitatively documents Jesus' actions, requirements, approach, the types of healings, who initiated the healing, as well as can give a little more context for each individual healing.

Each healing is on one post, and each version of the Gospels that carry the same story are included in each post.

I've tagged the healings in six major ways:

1.   ACTION  - to help us see some of Jesus' underlying principles and practices of healing; many of Jesus' healings did not involve a physical presence or physical touch, but some did.

2.   CONTEXT of the healing - to show the thought of the people surrounding the healing; this helps us get a better sense of the context and mental environment that Christ Jesus worked in; it also shows how consistent his healing work was despite the mental climate.

3.   HEALING - to show the range of Jesus' work; (currently this blog lists Jesus' healings of sin, mental and physical conditions and overcoming death;  Jesus' demonstrations over supply, overcoming nature's forces and his own resurrection are included at the very end of all the posts.)

4.   INITIATE - to show who initiated the healing

5.   JESUS' words - to show Jesus' approach to healing

6.   REQUIRED -  to show what Jesus required of the individual after the healing took place

Each healing is also tagged with the above topics that make them easy to pull up.  For instance, if you wanted to read all of Jesus' healings that dealt with a mental condition, you would click on the tag "Healing - Mental" ; if you wanted to know how many times friends or family initiated the healing, you would click on the tag "Initiate - family and friends" and so on.

On the right hand column, near the very bottom, are the tags.  Be sure to scroll down all the way.  Please feel free to contact me if you have any suggestions on adding more tags and changing others.

Please note: Jesus' works (such as feeding the 5,000 and 4,000; turning the water into wine, the two miraculous catches of fish and so on) are combined together in this post here.  It is located at the end of this blog.

A chronological summary of all Jesus' healings and works are listed in this post here at the very end of this blog.
